Organizational Change

Organizational change is fundamental to Person-Centered Planning. Services must be prepared to re-align resources, vision, and mission to act in response to what is identified as important to people through a meaningful person centered planning process. Weaving personal, organizational, and community change strengthen life-giving supports for people and their allies.  

"WHAT MORE IS POSSIBLE?" PUBLICATIONS

“What More is Possible?” is the mantra that guides person centered approaches to inclusion and change. The "What More is Possible" spiral provides a map for connecting the dots between personal, organizational, and community engagement. In every Pathfinder story, we see ways that these ever-widening cycles of investment correspond with strengthening relationships and valued roles.

LEARNING INSTITUTES

Since 2007 The New York Alliance for Inclusion & Innovation (NYSACRA until 2018) has organized Learning Institutes to support organizations in generating innovations in individualized supports.

Learning Institutes focus on applying knowledge of organizational development and social innovation to individualize supports for inclusion of people with developmental disabilities, elders and others who receive support funded by US Federal Medicaid.
