Artist's Statement
Though the statement here makes specific reference to the Journey
to the Beloved Community exhibition of 2012, it accurately expresses the
hopes, values, dreams and vision that drive all of my work.
As it says, I hope that these quilts "touch that spark in each of us that longs for the Beloved Community….a world that works for everyone…where every life is treasured and our time together is filled with meaning and beauty."
