The handprint is a universal symbol of spiritual power, signifying action, strength, and protection.
The handprints found throughout time and in every culture transmit the spiritual power of the person
who has “made their mark” on the world. This project celebrates the often hidden contributions of
direct support activists who hold the potential of so many others in their hands and have the
courage to practice the art of inclusion.
